Genesis Chapter 5
1 Adam’s Descendants
God created people to be like himself. 2 He made them male and female, blessed them, and called them human.
3 Adam lived 130 years and had a son in his own image like himself. He named him Seth. 4 He lived 800 years after that and had sons and daughters. 5 Altogether he lived 930 years and died.
6 Seth lived 105 years and had Enosh. 7 He lived 807 years after that and had sons and daughters. 8 Altogether he lived 912 years and died.
Gen 5:1-8
9 Enosh lived 90 years and had Kenan. 10 He lived 815 years after that and had sons and daughters. 11 Altogether he lived 905 years and died.
12 Kenan lived 70 years and had Mahalalel. 13 He lived 840 years after that and had sons and daughters. 14 Altogether he lived 910 years and died.
15 Mahalalel lived 65 years and had Jared. 16 He lived 830 years after that and had sons and daughters. 17 Altogether he lived 895 years and died.
18 Jared lived 162 years and had Enoch. 19 He lived 800 years after that and had sons and daughters. 20 Altogether he lived 962 years and died.
Gen 5:9-20
21 Enoch lived 65 years and had Methuselah. 22 Then Enoch walked with God 300 years after that and had sons and daughters. 32 Altogether he lived 365 years. 24 He walked with God and wasn’t there because God took him.
25 Methuselah lived 187 years and had Lamech. 26 He lived 782 years after that and had sons and daughters. 27 Altogether he lived 969 years and died.
28 Lamech lived 182 years and had a son. 29 He named him “Noah,” “He’ll ‘relieve’ us of our labor from the ground the LORD cursed.” 30 Lamech lived 595 years after that and had sons and daughters. 31 Altogether he lived 775 years and died.
32 Noah was 500 years old and had Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
