Psalms Chapter 148

                                                                        1Hallelujah!

         Praise the LORD from heaven;

      praise him in the sky.

2 Praise him, all his hosts of angels.

3 Praise him, sun and moon

      and shining stars.

4 Praise him, highest heaven,

      and water vapor in the sky.

5 Let them praise the LORD

            because he commanded and they came to be.

         6He established them forever

            by a decree that won’t expire.

Ps 148:1-6

7 Praise the LORD from earth,

            you sea monsters and all the great deep,

         8fire and hail, snow and clouds,

            stormy wind fulfilling his command,

         9mountains and hills,

            fruit trees and cedars,

         10wild animals and livestock,

            crawling things and flying birds,

         11kings of the earth and all the nations,

                                    officials and judges

                              12 young men and virgins,

            old men and children.

13 Praise the LORD

      because he alone is to be esteemed;

      his honor towers higher than earth and sky.

         14He makes his people strong

      and establishes praise for his holy nation,

            for Israel that’s near him.

                                                Hallelujah!
