1 Chronicles Chapter 7

1 ISSACHAR had four sons: Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.

            2 The sons of Tola were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel, heads of

            families. Tola’s sons were trained soldiers in their generations. At the time

            of David they numbered 22,600.

                  3 The son of Uzzi was Izrahiah.

                  The sons of Izrahiah were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, Isshiah—all five, mighty men.

                  4 With them by their generations according to their families were 36,000

      troops of the army, because they had many wives and sons. 5 Their relatives among the descendants of Issachar were trained soldiers, enrolled by genealogy—87,000 in all.                                  1 Ch 7:1-5

6 BENJAMIN had three sons: Bela, Becher, and Jediael.

            7 Bela had five sons: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were heads of families, trained soldiers enrolled by genealogy—22,034.

            8 The sons of Becher were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah,

                  Anathoth, and Alemeth. 9 They were enrolled by genealogy according to their

                  generations, heads of their families—20,200 trained soldiers.

            10 The son of Jediael was Bilhan.

                  The sons of Bilhan were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and

                        Ahishahar. 11 These were descendants of Jediael according to the heads of

                        Their families—17,200 trained soldiers prepared for war.

            12 Shuppim and Huppim were sons of Ir.

13 The sons of NAPHTALI: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shallum, the descendants of Bilhah.

14 The sons of MANASSEH, borne by his Aramaean concubine: Asriel and Machir Avi-Gilead.

            15 Machir took a wife for Huppim and for Shuppim. His sister was Maacah. The name of

                  the second was Zelophehad, who had daughters. 16 Maacah wife of Machir had a son

                  she named Peresh. His brother was Sheresh Avi-Ulam and Rakem.

                  17 The son of Ulam was Bedan.

                  These were the sons of Gilead Ben-Machir Ben-Manasseh.

            18 His sister Hammolecheth bore Ishbod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

            19 The sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.                      1 Ch 7:13-19

20 The sons of EPHRAIM were Shuthelah and Bered, Tahath his son, Eleadah his son, Tahath his son, 21 Zabad his son, Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead thatpl the men in Gath who were born in the land killed because they came down to steal their livestock. 22 Their father Ephraim mourned a long time, and his relatives came to comfort him. 23 Then he slept with his wife, and she bore a son, and he named him Beriah, because “misfortune” had come on his family. 24 His daughter was Sheerah—who built lower and upper Beth-horon—as well as Uzzen-sheerah. 25 Rephah was his son along with Resheph Avi-Tahan Avi- 26 Ladan Avi-Ammihud Avi-Elishama Avi- 27 Non/Nun Avi-Joshua. 28 Their possessions and settlements were Bethel, Naaran to the east, Gezer to the west, and Shechem as far as Ayyah with their towns. 29 Along their border with the Manassites, they had Beth-shean, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor with their towns. 30 The sons of ASHER: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, as well as their sister Serah

            31 The sons of Beriah were Heber and Malchiel Avi-Birzaith.

                  32 Heber was father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham, as well as Shua their sister.

                        33 The sons of Japhlet were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath.

                        34 The sons of Shemer were Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

                        35 The sons of his brother Helem were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

                                 36 The sons of Zophah were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, and Imrah,

                                          37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera.

            38 The sons of Jether were Jephunneh, Pispa, and Ara.

            39 The sons of Ulla were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.

            40 These were descendants of Asher, heads of families, elite soldiers, principal leaders. The number enrolled by genealogy for service in war was 26,000 men.      1 Ch 7:30-40
